NKorean TV airs new documentary about leader Kim
SEOUL, South Korea — North Korean state TV has aired a new documentary showing leader Kim Jong Il touring industrial facilities in March.
The move came as speculation flared anew about Kim’s health.
The 67-year-old Kim looked generally well in the 40-minute documentary shown Wednesday. But he rarely moved his left hand, suggesting possible lingering paralysis from a reported stroke last year.
State TV showed a similar documentary a week ago chronicling Kim’s activities in February. The regime is also making the first biopic about him.
A South Korean TV station reported last week that Kim is suffering from life-threatening pancreatic cancer.
