TV reporter finds 3 missing boys
MONROE, Wash. — Three young boys reported missing overnight near the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Washington state have been found safe.
KING Television of Seattle reported Thursday morning that one of the station’s reporters, Jennifer Cabala, was working on the story when she noticed the trio sitting on a sidewalk. She immediately called police.
Monroe police spokeswoman Debbie Willis did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
Earlier, she said 8-year-old Ethyan Gertschitz, his 10-year-old brother Elijah Gertschitz and 11- year-old Dylan Lewis were last seen playing outside around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday. When they didn’t return home, a parent called police, who began a search with a helicopter and tracking dog.
