LONDON - Hundreds of Michael Jackson’s fans gathered and danced on London streets to pay tribute to the legendary singer.

The crowd gathered for a flash mob tribute to Jackson outside Liverpool Street station in London.

The fans were seen holding Jacko’s pictures in the air as the party started with Billie Jean, followed by Thriller and Bad.

They donned superstar’s attire and sang his most famous hits.

The crowd was also seen showing off Jacko’s moonwalking.

After the event, some fans even went to a pub to have a celebratory drink and toast the star.

Event organiser Milo Yiannopoulls had invited people through social networking sites Facebook and Twitter to moonwalk for Michael.

“Somebody said it as a joke on Twitter at about nine thirty this morning that we should do this mass thing in Liverpool Street station,” Sky News quoted him as saying.

“I thought that’s funny, and then a couple of minutes later, I thought no let’s actually do it,” he said.

Yiannopoulls later paid tribute to Michael Jackson.

“Well obviously everybody’s interested in the scandal and controversy, but really I think his legacy is the music, as we’re here to enjoy the music,” he added. (ANI)
