Jay-Z named ‘Hip-Hop’s Most Powerful Player’

WASHINGTON - Superstar Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, has topped a new list of the most powerful person in the rap world.
The ‘99 Problems’ hitmaker, who is married to Beyonce Knowles, has landed the top spot on rap magazine The Source’s Power 30 list.
Jay-Z topped the list due to his due to his business ventures with Live Nation and Rocawear and his part-ownership of the New Jersey Nets basketball team.
Also making the list were P. Diddy, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Lil Wayne, reports Contactmusic.
President Barack Obama got an honourable mention for his influence on the new hip-hop generation. (ANI)
