Mumbai, October 25, 2008: The green fields seem to be joyfully swaying to the whistling of the cool winds, the chirping of the birds adding music in the air, the rushing of the meandering stream seem to be racing with time theres a waft of happiness and celebration in the air. Meet Mila De Rabba, the new daily soap, coming on Sony Entertainment Television from November 3 at 8.00 p.m., is set in a small village of Punjab. This unique and emotional love story, set within the deep-rooted traditions and customs of Punjab, begins with the excitement & preparation of the most vibrant and chirpy young Geets marriage.

Everyone who is stepping on to the soil is going to attend the big wedding. As the beautiful bride, Geet, is all dressed up in her bridal finery the entire village awaits the arrival of the baraat and the dulha. The couple gets ready to exchange their marriage vows; the customary gunshot is fired to announce the auspicious moment, a tradition followed over the yearsand suddenly all are shocked to witness an untoward incident that takes place at the marriage ceremony.

Young Geet gets married but this is not the kind of marriage a young girl would want to go through. But for Geet her parents happiness and honor is important and she will do everything to make her marriage work. This poignant love story takes the viewers through very difficult yet determined trials of a bubbly young girl who happily accepts her fate and moves on with life, simply to please her people and the society that she lives in.
