August 25, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Headlining a performance in Pittsburgh for the first time ever, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA will also play a benefit show at Mr. Smalls on Friday, 3rd September. They would be playing this show as a part of the "Back to The Roots" tour.

All the proceeds from the show will be donated to the Acadiana Outreach Center, a Lafayette, LA-based association that assists needy members of the community. Tickets cost $15 that can be bought online or at the venue box office counter.

TDWP’s frontman Mike Hranica reveals that they have done only one charity show so far and that too during their earlier days. He further says that he and the band wanted to do something for the people who could relate to them and they believe that Acadiana Outreach fit aptly fits that category.

The Acadiana Outreach Center is a place that provides grave recovery services to people and also provides access to accommodation, addiction management, food and clothing along with meaningful employment, everything through faith-based programs. The Center has also been very lively in helping to reconstruct the community, particularly since Hurricane Katrina devastated the area. The association has also implemented a ground-breaking program where people use fragments from broken homes and then convert them into functional furniture and art pieces.
