Natalie Portman Nabs Golden Globe

BEVERLY HILLS (GaeaTimes.com)- Last night, it seemed that there was a rain of celebrated actors and actresses on 68th Golden Globe Awards. Israeli-American actress, Natalie Portman, who has received ample appreciation for her role in the psychological thriller “Black Swan” nabbed the prestigious award of Best Actress in a Drama for her commendable performance. The actress managed to beat stunning actresses like Nicole Kidman, Michelle Williams, Halle Berry and Jennifer Lawrence on the category of Best Performance in a Motion Picture.
Natalie Portman looked gorgeous in her pink dress and dazzling jewelery as she entered the gala event with her fiance Benjamin Millepied. The gorgeous actress was all emotional when she took the stage to accept the celebrated award of the night. The exalted actress thanked her parents for bringing her to the world. She thanked her fiance Benjamin Millepied for loving her and supporting her in everything she does. The actress, who is pregnant with her first child, said that her fiance was the choreographer of the highly acclaimed movie. Moreover, she also mentioned that Benjamin Millepied played a small role in the movie as well.
Natalie Portman, who played the role of a tortured ballerina in the thriller thanked her co-star Mila Kunis and called her “sweet lips”. She thanked the director of the movie, Darren Aronofsky for giving her a chance to do this beautiful role. She said that 10 years ago she spoke with Darren Aronofsky about the movie, for the first time and after so many years it seems that the dream has come true. The actress also added that the director gave her the inspiration to perform better. Natalie Portman won Best Actress at the Critics’ Choice Awards last week.
