NEW YORK, (GaeaTimes.com)- It was “no pants day” in New York on Sunday. Surprised? Don’t be. Sunday celebrated the 10th anniversary of “No Pants Subway Ride” in the city. the city seemed to look its hottest, even when temperatures went below freezing point! It was an event organized by Improv Everywhere, where people from all over the city took off their pants spontaneously, in order to participate in the event. The city got to witness some hundreds of people without their clothing from waist down, even though they wore mufflers, sweaters and jackets to keep out the cold outside. The city saw some of the most beautiful legs, which remain hidden otherwise.

Despite the freezing cold outside, people were very enthusiastic about the “No Pants Subway Ride” event on Sunday. From 2p.m onwards, people without their pants started collecting at Maria Hernandez Park at Irving Avenue and Starr Street. A good number of people were interviewed where one Bushwick resident said that it might look odd to the world that she is traveling the whole day without her pants, but she was desperate to give it a try. 3p.m onwards, people started to gather at different places in the city from where they were supposed to board their subway cars. People behaved completely normal and were deeply into their routine jobs. It did not matter to them that they were without their lower garment. Some looked into space, while others read magazines or newspapers. There were a few people in underground trains who took snaps of those without pants.

In order to make the celebration all the more happening, people wore undergarments of different varieties, from polka dot bloomers to basic striped boxers. It was a spectacle that takes place every year and hundreds of people gather to celebrate “No Pants Subway Ride”
