MUSCAT - People of Oman will soon be mesmerized by noted Indian magician P.C. Sorcar Jr., when the wizard performs here in the sultanate later this month.
Sorcar Jr. will perform Nov 24 and 25 at the Al Bustan Palace Inter Continental Hotel, Oman’s The Week newspaper reported.
“Be it a historical edifice or a coin in his palm, the ‘merchant of vanish’ can convince his audiences at the drop of the proverbial hat that it never existed. His performances have included wiping out a whole passenger train, the Taj Mahal and the Victoria Memorial in Kolkata in front of an audience,” the newspaper said.
His presentations require 50 tonnes of equipment, 150 staff members, dozens of settings, laser lighting systems and feature original music by his own orchestra.
Sorcar Jr. performs over 400 shows a year.
