Selita Ebanks Praised By Kanye West

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- When Kanye West performed the song “Runaway” at MTV Video Music Awards, he promised his fans that he would come up with a 35 minutes short film based on the song. His much anticipated short film “Runaway” premiered on Landmark Sunshine Cinema on Thursday in New York and the movie managed to live up to the expectation of the audience owing to its wonderful direction and performance of all the actors. In the short film, Kanye West plays the role of The Griffin and “Victoria’s Secret” model Selita Ebanks plays the role of his girlfriend, The Phoenix. In one of his recent interviews Kanye West was all in praises for Selita Ebanks saying that she “killed” the shot film “Runaway” with her performance.

Kanye West told in one of interviews to a reputed media source just after the premiere that he loved Selita Ebanks‘ performance in “Runaway” and she “surprised” everyone with her confidence. “The College Dropout” singer said that the whole production had different ideas for the movie and also they had different pictures of “phoenixes” in their mind. Kanye West also said that they had lot of people in their mind who would fit the role of phoenix. He said that he had to go through lot of “craziness” in order to get the primary necessities like locations, financing etc. done but Selita Ebanks never “wavered”.

Kanye West went on to say that Selita Ebanks “believed” in his vision and “delivered” her performance. The rapper also said that Selita Ebanks got into the skin of her character and she was “amazing” in her role. Selita Ebanks, on the other hand seemed excited about her debut short film. She said that working with Kanye West was “extremely easy” and the singer knew what he wanted from the short film.
