Sarah Streeter: Rod Stewart’s Biological Daughter

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The renowned singer and songwriter Rod Stewart recently spilled the beans and spoke about his daughter, Sarah Streeter to the media. The singer while speaking about his daughter told a reputed media source that he had to give away his daughter for adoption when he was 17 or 18 year old. He confessed that he had to put his eldest daughter for adoption, as he had no money to fulfill the basic needs.

Rod Stewart appeared on “The Joy Behar Show” and said that he had no other option than to give away his daughter for adoption. The singer gave the reason for Sarah Streeter’s adoption as he was completely “stone broke” when his daughter was born. “An Old Raincoat Won’t Ever Let You Down” singer said that since Sarah Streeter’s adoptive parents have died now, both Rod Stewart and his daughter has come together and they are working on their relationship. While speaking about his daughter Rod Stewart said that he never felt he was her father, as he never got a chance to perform her duties of taking her to school or do any “parental” thing for her. However, he seemed optimistic when he said that he is now trying to rebuild his relationship with his daughter.

Apart from Sarah Streeter, Rod Stewart also spoke about his son Sean Stewart, who was arrested last Wednesday. However, he called the whole incident a mistake as the police thought his son was driving on an expired license. Sarah Streeter on the other hand told a reputed media source that she did not know about her biological father till he was 18. However, she said that she was not angry with her father but was “sad”. However, she also said that she has started a new chapter in her life with her father.
