LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)-The ‘Double Jeopardy’ episode of ‘The Good Wife’ that aired on Tuesday night featured the controversial radio host Lou Dobbs. The role also saw him come across his political opposite Joe Trippi, who also appeared as himself on the show. Though Lou Dobbs admitted that he was quite nervous about acting, viewers of the episode will agree that the veteran commentator did a good job.
Lou Dobbs said that he was extremely terrified at the idea of playing himself on the show. He also praised the show for portraying real human emotions and said that it was sophisticated drama. He also praised his co-star Christine Baranski and said that when she walked in, he felt like saluting her. He added that though he was a rank amateur, she was gracious and patient with him. About Alicia, he said that the actress could convey a lot with just her looks.
Lou Dobbs has been in the news for various reasons after his stepping down from the CNN talk show that he hosted. He has also revealed to the media his desire to run for the president in 2012. Though he has maintained that he is a independent populist, he is known for his strong support of the immigration enforcement. He is also a registered Republican and in spite of financially helping the Bush-Cheney campaign, he has called the administration ‘disgraceful’ later. He was also supportive of the LGBT rights in America and has also criticized the George Bush administration for it tax cuts.
