Peter Doherty charged with the possession of cocaine

September 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Peter Doherty, from The Libertines , was recently charged with a Class A drug on his person at a London police station.
Doherty was arrested in the month of after the drugs related demise of heiress Robin Whitehead took place. There were a total of four people that were taken into custody; Peter was one of them. Robin Whitehead was 27-years old when she died and it was suspected that she succumbed to an overdose in an Eastern London flat, in the month of January, this year.
Whitehead was busy making a particular documentary on Doherty at that time and he formerly admitted, visiting the property the day before and right after the day after she died; however on the night, when she died, Peter claimed that he was at his home in Wiltshire.
Doherty is 31 years old now, he was initially arrested on the 19th of March, as he was suspected of supplying drugs then consequently he was bailed. He now faces the charge of drug possession, which can still land him in jail.
According to a source, present at the time Whitehead died, said that the 31 year old rocker vehemently said that he was not in any way involved with her death; he is still supposedly stressed out.
