Ghost Rider sequel in 2012

September 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Acclaimed Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage would soon be back as the fiery skull head on a chopper, playing the role of Johnny Blaze, a professional stunt motor-cyclist who trades his soul to Satan and eventually becomes a fire-blazing vigilante.
Ghost Rider, the film, wasn’t a huge success and had earned about $115 million in the U.S. box office and a sum of $228 million from around the world. The movie’s production company, Sony, wanted to go for the movie sequel before the 14th of November or else they would have been forced to revert the rights of the character back to Marvel Comics. In order to avoid this, the sequel has been chalked out and planned.
It would most probably be called “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance,” and is to be shot in 3-D. The Box Office Mojo has announced that it would hit theaters on the 17th of February in the year 2012. Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor will be doning the roles of the director for this sequel.
For now, only Cage is scheduled to make a comeback and the beautiful Eva Mendes can also reprise her role of Roxanne Simpson. Roxanne plays the love-interest of Johnny Blaze in the film, as was seen in the original Ghost Rider flick.
Nothing has been declared about the adversary of ghost Rider as the movie-producers/makers are keeping their mouths shut.
