Will and Jada Pay It Forward On Their Birthdays

September 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Hollywood’s hottest celebrity couple, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, has joined hands with charity: Water, so as to make a stance against global water crisis.

This talented twosome, who were both born in the month of September, are going to celebrate their special days by asking both friends as well as fans to make contributions that will finance the digging of clean water wells in several developing African communities.

The two said that both, contribution and service, are a part of celebration of the gifts that one has, and they would like to honor the gifts by sharing them with others. The couple says that there are men, women and children who don’t have clean water to drink.

Even a $20 contribution will supply clean water for one person, dwelling in a developing nation for two decades. This info has been revealed by the non-profit group.

The couple also says that the three top fundraisers will be joining both Will and Jada on a trip to Africa in 2011, to see the fruits of their contribution so to speak.

This is indeed a very humanitarian venture by this Hollywood couple and they should be applauded for this effort. Sharing their special day with the less fortunate is indeed a commendable job, but very few people actually go ahead and do it.
