Bardem has gone ahead and confirmed his wife’s pregnancy to the press. Earlier, there were a few rumors regarding the Cruz’s pregnancy. The rumors regarding her pregnancy initiated after a photo of the actress at the newest Pirates of the Caribbean highlighted a visibly fuller waistline. This made the media take keen interest in her pregnancy.
Soon enough, the Spanish PR agency of Penelope Cruz confirmed this news. The infamously private ex- Vicki Christina Barcelona co-stars had married in a small and quiet Bahamian ceremony in the month of July. Both Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz kept absolutely quiet regarding the pregnancy bit.
The former No Country for Old Men star made sure that the gender of the baby wouldn’t be revealed. Javier also said that he doesn’t feel competent enough to give tips on the subjects of balancing fatherhood alongside a successful career as of yet.
He said that it’s a little too early for him to impart advice to others, since he’s still new to the entire concept of fatherhood.
