Refined Character Actor Harold Gould Passed Away

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes) — It is a day in Hollywood to regret the loss of veteran actor Harold Gould, the man remembered for his remarkable roles in the movie “The Sting” and in the television sitcoms like “Rhoda” and “The Golden Girls”. This actor of immense talent and refined personality died of prostate cancer at a nursing home in Woodland Hills in Calif. He was 86 years of age.
Before stepping into the world of television Harold Gould was a college drama professor. He was impeccable in both drama as well as comedy. Over a long period of nearly a decade he has ruled over the hearts of thousands of audiences by his flawless performances in TV classics such as “The Twilight Zone”, “The Untouchables”, “Perry Mason”, “Mr. Ed”, “Get Smart”, “The Fugitive”, “Hogan’s Heroes”, “I Dream of Jeannie”, “Columbo”, “The Love Boat and Gunsmoke”.
Harold Gould was nominated for Emmy awards five times in his entire span of career. The movies that are remembered for his notable performance include “Love and Death,” “Silent Movie,” “Freaky Friday” and “Patch Adams.” We express our deep condolence to his bereaved family.
