Chelsea Handler VMA Skit

Los Angeles (GaeaTimes.com) - As expected, MTV Video Music Awards host Chelsea Handler opened with a bang. Just coming out of jail and rehab, Lindsay Lohan made her first appearance back on the Hollywood scene during a scripted skit for Chelsea Handler’s VMA entrance. Handler, the host of the show, is seen in her robe, holding a cup. Lohan spent 13 days in jail and three weeks in court-ordered rehab for charges stemming from a 2007 DUI incident.

The only way MTV let Lindsay be at the VMAs was if she taped the skit instead of doing one live. From Popeater,

Lindsay knows she has a ways to go before she gains back the trust of everyone

A friend of the troubled actress reportedly told,

But she’s just grateful to be getting these offers again. I know it’s hard to fathom, but there was actually a time when Lindsay was being offered presenting gig after presenting gig for A-List awards shows. Been a while, right? Now she’s just grateful to be asked back even if she has to tape her performance.

She told the crowd,

My plan was to stay sober the entire show, but, in an interesting twist, I am as high as a kite. That’s the last time I do a prayer circle with Snoop Dogg.

She also chided multiple VMA winner Gaga a couple of times, talking about her fashion choices in music videos. Leave it to Loca LiLo to poke fun at the mess that has become her life in the limelight.
