Rapper T.I. and his Wife arrested for drug abuse

Los Angeles (GaeaTimes.com) - The Rapper T.I., real name Clifford Harris, 29, and his newlywed wife Tameka Cottle has been held by L.A. Police after detecting marijuana coming from their car at a traffic stop near West Hollywood. The news was confirmed by the Deputy Luis Castro of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.

Authorities searched the car after they got the hint of marijuana in the car. The officials found controlled drugs in their possession. The officials are reluctant to expose the name of the specific drug. The couple posted a $10,000 bail and was released in the morning.

The Rapper T.I. is a Grammy Award winner. He was in prison for seven months in the charge of weapon conviction. He was held in a sting operation in 2007 while receiving 3 machine guns and 2 silencers which were bought for him. After guilty plea, he performed 1000 hours of community service. He is still on probation. He was released from the Arkansas in December. He secretly married his girlfriend Tameka Cottle, 36, in Miami a month ago. His wife is a small time actress.

The rapper since had a good time. He produced and starred in the hit movie “takers”. He is now focusing on his upcoming movie “King Uncaged”. He quoted about his movies as,

I gave my word and I promised that after I completely gave my attention to the marketing and release of the film, once I released it to a No. 1 opening and did twenty-plus millions of dollars in box office at the debut now, starting Monday (Aug. 30), man, I am completely consuming myself with the completion of King Uncaged.
