Cinemax India Launches Three Screens Multiplex Shiv Cinemax In Ahmedabad

September 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Mumbai-based Cinemax India Limited (Cinemax), has launched a three screens multiplex Shiv-Cinemax in Ahmedabad on auspicious day of Janmashthami. The multiplex will open with the screening of movies like ‘Emotional Atyachar’ and ‘We are Family’.

With three big screens, the multiplex will have a capacity of 657 seats of which 75 will be recliner seats. The multiplex has been built on the Ashram Road with modern ambience and facilities.

The viewers can enjoy a personalized cafe service here even while watching their favorite films. In Gujarat, this is the sixth multiplex of the Company, which will now have total 21 screens with 5442 seats all over the state. The company is now planning to add 40 more screens to their existing 97 screens in this fiscal.

Speaking at the launch, Devang Sampat, the President for Cinemax India Ltd stated that Cinemax was approached by many single screen theatres in Ahmedabad to convert them into multiplexes but they did not shortlist any of them for near future. The company is planning to add 45 screens every year under its expansion plans.

With this launch, the movie watching experience of the film lovers has been made luxurious and definitely expensive too! However, when such lavish faculties are offered, the money spent becomes worthy enough for a weekend!
