LOS ANGELES (gaeaTimes.com) — When it comes to controversy, Paris Hilton doesn’t seem to have enough of it. In a recent development, police authorities have reported that they have discovered broken tablets of Albuterol, a drug used to control wheezing in Paris’s bag.

Last Saturday night, Paris was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance after police alleged that they found 0.8 grams of cocaine in her purse during a search. Police officers have claimed that a strong smell of marijuana was coming from Hilton’s boyfriend Wait’s Cadillac Escalade when they stopped the car. As she was told to open her bag inside Wynn’s Hotel bathroom by a female police officer, a small bindle of cocaine fell to her hand. Although she has completely denied about carrying the cocaine, she did agree that all the other contents of the purse including few broken Albuterol tablets were hers.

Paris Hilton had another run-in with the law over alleged drug possession earlier this summer when she was detained in South Africa at the World Cup for marijuana possession. But the case against Hilton was later dropped after officials learned that someone else in her group was smoking.

Hilton has a history of getting in trouble for possessing substances and hitting the road, including a 23-day jail sentence in 2007 for violating probation stemming from a 2006 DUI bust.
