Meet The Fockers Sequel Stars Dustin Hoffman

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- There is some real good news for all the fans of veteran actor Dustin Hoffman who were left rather disappointed after it came to light that the “Marathon Man” star was not going to be part of the third installment of the “Meet the Fockers” franchise. If recent reports are anything to go by then the 73-year-old noted actor has been signed on by the makers of the romantic comedy franchise once again to star in the third segment of the series which has been titled “Little Fockers.”
In the upcoming sequel of “Meet the Fockers,” all the ardent followers of Dustin Hoffman would get to see the renowned actor play his role of Bernie Focker, the father of the role edged by Ben Stiller while actress Barbra Streisand is making a comeback as his on-screen wife. Although it has been reported that the filming for the upcoming sequel of “Meet the Fockers” has been completed, the scenes starring Dustin Hoffman would be shoot in a series of re-shoots that have been planned over the month of September. Initially, the “Wag the Dog” star was written off the third installment of the highly popular romantic comedy franchise after the producers failed to negotiate a contract with him. However, Dustin Hoffman decided to return to “Little Fockers” after he was supposed convinced by director of the previous two sequels Jay Roach.
“Little Fockers” which is sequel to both “Meet the Parents” and “Meet the Fockers” features stars of the earlier franchises, Robert Di Niro, Ben Stiller, Blythe Danner, Owen Wilson, Teri Polo, among others.
