The couple went on for a lavish Punjabi style wedding attended by family members and close friends both from Bollywood and outside. The groom, Prakash Raj chose to wear a dazzling maroon Sherwani for his wedding while Pony Verma sparkled in her red lehenga choli. The couple was seen enjoying every moment of the ceremony and undoubtedly looked made for each other.

Media reports claim that the Prakash Raj’s mother, his sister along with her family, and his own two daughters from his previous marriage played host to the celebrity guests who drove to the wedding venue. Apart from the family members, Prakash Raj’s close friends like actor Kumaravel, directors Radhamohan and Viji and cinematographer KV Guhan and Tanya Samthani were seen in entertaining the guests and making them feel comfortable.

The reception party of Prakash Raj’s wedding turned out to be a head-turner event with directors, actors and actresses from both Bollywood and South Indian Film industry arriving to wish the couple happiness. Director Priyadarshan and family was the first to be spotted by the media to enter the wedding venue. Actress Rani Mukherjee, all dazzling in her ethnic looks turned up for the event. An elated actress said that the couple looks fantastic together. She added her friend Pony Verma has been updating her about her impending marriage for a long time and that she is happy to see the couple married.
