August 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Despised Icon, the deathcore veterans have announced about their Australian tour, before they go defunct. The band would be hitting Aussie land in the month of November and would do a total of six shows throughout Australia.
Despised Icon has been providing the world with a true lesson in musical brutality and their album ‘Day of Mourning’ is a testimony to the sonic violence that the band preaches. The band has six releases and has toured the world along with The Black Dahlia Murder, Behemoth, Hatebreed and Parkway Drive, the band has set its sight on Australia.
The band members never thought that they would get so serious with their music, since initially, they used to play a few local shows; however the band thanks its friends, peers and fans to make them what they have become today. Despised Icon, have become an extremely raw and extremely talented musical outfit. The band would be disbanding soon enough and have decided to provide their Australian fans with something to remember by. The band previously also had released a live DVD called Montreal Assault.
Joining Despised Icon on the road will be The Red Shore and Thy Art Is Murder, both from Australia. Australia be prepared for this Montreal outburst!
