Noomi Rapace In High demand In Hollywood

August 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Swedish actress Noomi Rapace of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has become a craze in Hollywood after giving some extraordinary performances in recent years. The actress offered an excellent performance as the computer hacker Lisbeth Salander in this movie and in its sequel The Girl Who Played with Fire.

There is a report that Warner Bros. has put her on its wishlist for the sequel of Sherlock Holmes. Paramount Pictures is also trying to rope in her for Mission: Impossible 4. Rapace has also held meetings with Brad Fischer for the upcoming movie The Last Voyage of the Demeter and with James McTeigue for The Raven. Other meetings were also held with directors McG and Tommy Wirkola for This Means War and Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters respectively.

Rapace has already won the Swedish equal of an Oscar for best actress. Her latest movie The Girl Who Played With Fire is going to be released in the UK on 27th August. Some other movies of Noomi’s include The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest in 2009, In the Shadow of the Raven in 1988 and Daisy Diamond in 2007.

With all these talks and meetings, one can expect Noomi Rapace to be Hollywood’s next big name!
