LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Serial killer Keith Jesperson, who came to be known as the ‘Happy Face Killer’ was responsible for the murder of around eight people between 1990 to 1995. The story of the serial killer who is presently behind the bars as he is serving the multiple sentences owing to the heinous crimes that he had committed, came to the limelight once again last night when his daughter Melissa Moore made an appearance on the ABC show “20/20.” During Friday night’s television interview, Keith Jesperson’s daughter recollected the memories of her growing up years in rural Toppenish, Washington along with her murderous father.

Although Melissa Moore pointed out that if she took her childhood memories into consideration then it was hard for her to believe that her loving father would become the ‘Happy Face Killer‘ in the future, she could not deny that her dad indeed had a darker side to him that he kept hidden from his family. During the interview, Melissa Moore gave revealing insights about a particular incident which took place when she was a child when she saw her father torturing animals by grabbing kittens and then hanging them in the clotheslines. Scared by the incident, Melissa Moore went on to fetch her mother but all the kittens had been killed by the time they returned.

Keith Jesperson went on to become one of the most notorious serial killers across the nation who is also grabbed the attention of the media by claiming to have killed more people than he actually had. He became famed as the ‘Happy Face Killer’ as he always signed his confession letters with a smiley.
