BSB and New Kids On The Block join hands for tour

August 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): In what can be the ultimate boy band tour of all time, New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys are getting close to signing a deal with Live Nation Entertainment. This could actually lead to a joint tour in the month of March next year.
The members of NKOTB and BSB had both gained a fanatic popular during their hay day. In case this tour ultimately takes shape, they might just be recording a single track together before the planned tour.
Live Nation has not made any comment on the tour yet, the company is also said to be in search for a third group, in order to round up the entire show. Among the proposed names for the third and final boy band, the name of Boyz II Men has topped the list.
A source reveals that the aim is to re-create the ultimate boy band phenomenon, where the female fans would go crazy.The boy bands first teamed up in the month of June during, 2009 at a Radio City Music Hall performance. It was this concert, where the New Kids on the Block joined hands with the Backstreet Boys so as to sing the smash hit "I Want It That Way."
