LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The highly anticipated “Weeds” season 6 episode 1 was aired last night on Showtime and the audience enjoyed their most entertaining hours watching their favorite series on television. The premiere episode was directed by Scott Ellis and written by Jenji Kohan. The powerhouse star cast of the show includes Mary Louise Parker, Linda Hamilton, Richard Dreyfuss, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Alanis Morissette, to name a few.

“Weeds” Season 6 episode 1 starts right after the ending of “Weeds” Season 5 and in last night’s episode the audience saw Nancy Botwin’s family coming under big trouble after her son Shane, kills his mother’s blackmailer Pilar in Mexico. However, Nancy Botwin decides quickly and collects what she has from Esteban’s house and decides to run away with her family. Silas gets scared as he is disturbed by his younger brother Shane’s dark side. Andy has to decide if he would accompany Nancy or stay and fight for Audra’s affection. The show takes an unexpected twist when Cesar sees the video footage of Shane murdering Pilar and decides to cover it up.

“Weeds” Season 6 Episode 1 also had some funny moments which gave the audience a hearty laugh. “Weeds” is one of the most popular American comedy drama series. It has received many prestigious awards owing to its originality in script and wonderfully woven plot. Last night also the interesting plot and its various twists and turns kept the audience riveted to their seats. Mary Louise Parker plays the role of a suburban mother in “Weeds” who later becomes a drug dealer in the show. The season 6 will deal with Nancy’s journey with her children, her childish brother-in-law and her financial troubles.
