Mile High Music Festival Kicks Off Today

DENVER (GaeaTimes.com)- The highly anticipated Mile High Music Festival is finally here and fans have a lot more to look forward than just live music and parties. With a line up that includes stars from a vast range of genres, the fans are set to be treated to the music of some of the biggest names in the music industry. The festival starts today and gates of the venue open at 11am. Today’s headliner is Jack Johnson, who will be performing at 8.30 pm. Some of the other big names who will be seen on stage today are Damien ‘Dr.Gong’ Marley, Cypress Hill, Slightly Stoopid and the Steve Miller Band.
The Mile High Music Festival has also released some interesting application for the smart phone users which not only provide them with live updates on the event but also the maps and schedules. The festival will not allow overnight camping at the venue by the fans. There is also the facility of paperless ticket through the Flash Seats option introduced for the fans. There are also a number of competitions which are a part of the festival. Last year the event attracted thousands of fans with names such as The Fray and Incubus performing live on stage.
On Sunday, the fans at the Mile High Music Festival, can afford to go berserk with two of the biggest bands performing live at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Colorado. For a line up that includes the chart toppers Train and Dave Mathews Band the festival is sure to end with a bang.
