August 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Linkin Park, the multi platinum selling US band, has posted that no other band apart LP had a no.1 debut on the charts that have been running for 14 months.
The latest Linkin Park track, entitled ‘The Catalyst’ launches with a mind boggling total of 12.2 million audience impressions.

The Nielsen BDS-based radio broadcasting airplay survey measures the most-heard titles on more than 180 alternative, adult alternative, and mainstream rock stations.
The song ‘The Catalyst’ at the same time commences on the Alternative Songs chart at No. 3, marking the biggest arrival of the list since the bands ‘What I’ve Done’ got toppled from the No. 1 position in the month of April in 2007.
‘The Catalyst’ is from the band’s fourth studio album, called “A Thousand Suns”. The album is due on September 14
