MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Kalki Koechlin is definitely not among those actresses who are too eager to dance around the trees beside the hero in commercial potboilers and shed copious tears in family sagas that look way too dramatic. The actress who made a splash in Bollywood with her riveting performance in the multiple award-winning film ‘Dev D’ is all set to scorch the silver screen after a prolonged absence. She got rave reviews for her performance in ‘Dev D’ but contrary to what many people think, it was not her debut film. She did a cameo in the Yash Raj film ‘Laga Chunari Mein Daag’ in 2007.

By the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011 three other films of the actress will be released. She is happy that her film That Girl in Yellow Boots has been picked up for the Venice film festival. It has been co written by the ‘Dev D’ director Anurag Kashyap with whom she reportedly shares a live in relation. She is now busy filing for an upcoming film named ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ which also has Abhay Deol and Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan. However, Kalki Koechlin refused to talk much on the film. It also has the talented actor director Farhan Akhtar.

Kalki Koechlin is also upbeat about another project named ‘Happy Days’. The actress also made splash with her new Coca Cola ad which she shot with Imran Khan. She said that after the stupendous success of Deb D and critical acclaim she has become very cautious about signing films that come her way.
