Dimpy Ganguly and Rahul Mahajan: Too Good for Each Other??

MUMBAI, INDIA (gaeaTimes.com) — Marriages are made in heaven. At least for common people like us. But things are little different when you are a celebrity like Rahul Mahajan or Dimpy Ganguly. For them, being married to someone over the television is like a day-to-day affair, a contractual obligation for winning the reality tv show.

Dimpy Ganguly aka Soumasri ganguly was a Kolkata based model, known for her bold image. Before the reality show, Dimpy was famous for her hot photoshoots in a Bikini for the modeling company Gladrags. She tried her luck in Gladrags MegaModel and Manhunt on 2009 but failed. But that didn’t stop her from appearing in various television shows adorning skimpy clothes. Infact, in one of the comedy shows where she was the anchor, people were more busy oggling at her clothes, than to laugh over her jokes.

But all these seemed to be not enough for our dear old Dimpy. So, she decided to join the reality tv show on NDTV Imagine, featuring Rahul mahajan as a bridegroom. Things were looking good for both Rahul and Dimpy when they decided to marry at the end of the show’s season. Marriage on a grand tv set at Udaipur, reception in a Kolkata’s 5 star hotel and a honeymoon trip to Maldives, Dimpy and Rahul were really flying high on that time.

But all good cinemas have a twist in stock! It seems Rahul-Dimpy’s marriage also has one. On Thursday night, Dimpy was seen coming out of Rahul’s flat with bruises on her shin, right and left hand and a lump on her head. No, they were not love bites!! Infact, according to Dimpy, those are the proof of domestic violence she was facing in hand of her dear husband. It seems Rahul got angry over Dimpy for not being able to open her mobile’s keypad to read her messages. According to Dimpy’s version, Rahul suddenly turned violent and thrashed her. She said he punched, kicked and dragged her by her hair. And all this for not being able to open a mobile’s keypad lock!! Really he needs medication asap.

This is not the first time Rahul, son of late Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan, has been accused of domestic violence. Media reports had indicated his separation from his first wife, commercial pilot Shweta Singh, was because he used to hit her.

Now with this new turn of events, Dimpy and Rahul are going towards a divorce on the basis of domestic violence. At the same time Rahul is praying his one time crush, Payal Rohtagi, for a second chance with her. However, Payal seems to have rejected his overtures. And poor Rahul is all alone again.

Well, atleast he will be available for another round of marriage and we might see him once again in the reality show posing as an innocent bachelor looking for the love of his life. And as for Dimpy, its time to return to what she does best - posing in bikini and appearing in shows with senseless jokes and skimpy clothes. What do you say????
