LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The ‘America’s Got Talent’ audience were treated to a eye popping dance performance on the July 28 episode as Jabbawockeez performed on stage. The first season winners of ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’ provided a perfect example of what the perfect stage performance should be like. Considering that Fighting Gravity are one of the front-runners in the competition so far, the Jabbawockeez served as a strong inspiration for the gravity defying act.
The Jabbawockeez contested in the second season of America’s Got Talent and were eliminated in the Vegas call back round. They, however, made excellent use of the exposure they got from the reality shows and went on to become one of the best known dance group in America. They perform with plain masks on their faces and Nick Cannon (the host) appeared in one of them at the end of the performance on the America’s Got Talent show. They have revealed earlier that they keep the mask on so that the audience can focus on the dance steps of the group instead of on only one performer.
The performance on ‘America’s Got Talent’ stage also gave Jabbawockeez to showcase a single from their debut album that is releasing next month. The single called ‘Robot Remains’ also gave the audience a sneak peek into their Las Vegas show ‘MU.S.I.C’. ‘MU.S.I.C’ will go on its third run in August after the first two runs in May and June were sell outs. The Jabbawockeez have also appeared in a number of music videos and movies over the years. They appeared in ‘Step Up’ and its sequel and have also been a part of Leona Lewis music videos.
