Jon Hamm In “The Simpsons”

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The “Golden Globe Award” winner Jon Hamm will lend his voice on the long-running animated Fox’s TV series “The Simpsons”. The “Mad Men” actor will voice the episode titled “Donnie Fatso” which will be aired in December. Jon Hamm will play an FBI supervisor whom Homer Simpson reports to when he becomes an undercover agent in prison to penetrate with hostile intent in Fat Tony’s inner circle in the episode. “The Simpsons” audience are waiting eagerly for the upcoming episode to hear their favorite actor’s voice.

Jon Hamm will be testing out his comic prowess by this upcoming cameo and the star has already recorded a segment for the episode. The executive producer of the series Al Jean in one of his interviews said that in the upcoming episode, there is no “Mad Men” reference and Jon Hamm plays a “gruff” FBI man who has no patience for Homer Simpson. The executive producer also praised Jon Hamm’s versatility by saying that the star can do “12 great” things with only one note given to him. Al Jean also added that Jon Hamm is funny, handsome and fulfills all the quality of a star.

Jon Hamm will be appearing before his audience with a fresh new season of “Mad Men” tonight on AMC and lending his voice in “The Simpson” has added an extra feather in his career as a performer. The character of Donnie Fatso of Jon Hamm is reportedly an ode to the Johnny Depp film “Donnie Brasco”. The star by doing a cameo in “The Simpsons” would join the rank of celebrities like Dustin Hoffman, Tom Hanks, Denis Leary and other veteran actors who were celebrity guest stars on the show previously.
