Angelina Jolie to shoot film on Bosnian war

Belgrade, July 14 (IANS/AKI) Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie is planning to direct her first film in the Balkans. She will also play a leading role in the movie, a love story set in the Bosnian war.
Jolie will visit Serbia in August to discuss planning of the film and scout locations, Belgrade daily Press reported Wednesday.
In the film, a Muslim woman is raped by a Serb at the beginning of Bosnia’s bloody 1992-1995 war. But they eventually fall in love and go together through horrors of the war in which more than 100,000 people were killed.
Serbian media magnate Zeljko Mitrovic, owner of a private television Pink Media Group and film studios on the outskirts of Serbian capital, will be involved in the project, according to Press.
Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the UN refugee agency UNHCR. She and her husband Brad Pitt visited the Balkans in April, taking a short vacation in Montenegro and visiting refugee camps in Bosnia.

The scene that depicts Serbs as monsters “a group of Serbs, aged from 2 years old boy to a 72 years old man, rapes the Bosnian muslim woman. One man takes the knife and cuts her breast off and eats it.” THIS IS THE MOVIE THAT YOU WANTED TO MAKE??? ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING ME? No. 1. obviously somebody paid you lots of money to make such an awful movie, where Serbs as a Nation are demonized… You make one silly trip to Bosnia; visit few homes and you already have THE ANSWERS to the war, conflict and the entire history that took place in Balkans for the past 600 years?! No wonder that the Serbian PINK TV producer, refused your offer!!! FYI, according to the tabloids and the general sentiment in Serbia and North Eastern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, you are officially a persona non grata in those parts of the world!!! |

bosnian muslims started the civil war in bosnia by killing a serbian wedding guest Mr. Gardovic in the beginning of 1992: in the middle of the ceremony on the main city square a muslim approached the wedding guests who thought he came to join celebration. Instead he pulled his gun and killed Mr. Gardovic in front of his whole family. He then continued shooting other guests, all Serbs. This was the beginning of the war and officially was pronounced as war by muslim president Mr. Izetbegovic who issued mobilization order in April of 1992. As soon as the war started bosnian muslims raped and cut throat of a beautiful serbian girl, an 18 model, in the summer of 1992. in Sarajevo in “Brick” district. Her last name was Zec. When her mother came into the apartment and saw her massacred body in the bathtub she committed suicide. Subsequently, 10,000 Serbs “disappeared” in Sarajevo during the civil war 1992.-1995. Many of their remains were dig from a cave in Sarajevo suburb called “Kazani”. Autopsy showed that whole Serb families were killed by cutting their throats (e.g. Lavrov family, mother, father and 16 year old son. Muslims, after raping mother, put a piece of wood into her vagina and then cut her throat with 40cm knife - autopsy report from official court documents in Sarajevo and testimony of the accused and his accomplices). Members of Sarajevo muslim Mountain brigade were tried in Sarajevo and got 2 years in jail total for these genocidal acts. Mr Mitrovic refused to take part in the movie because Serbs are not bad guys! To remind, the film’s screenplay Anđelininog scandalous - in one scene shows a group of twenty Serbs between the ages of young and retired, who rape a beautiful young Muslim and Serbian women while supporting the side, the other crazy scene Serbian soldier cut breast silovanoj Muslim and then the vicious bite! |
