June 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): This is your one stop shop for the latest happenings in the town. The buzz. The release plans. The launches! The works! Yes, this is serious business and we will bring to you the most reliable information week after week. Have a dekko.

-All eyes are set on ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ which sees Imran Khan returning to (a comfortable) romcom genre after ‘Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’. The release holds a great significance for him since his contemporary Ranbir Kapoor has just delivered a blockbuster in the form of ‘Raajneeti’.

-Karan Johar has finalised the title of his Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal starrer remake of ‘Stepmom’. The film would be called ‘We Are Family’.

-Kangna is going the comic way. She has been signed by Indra Kumar for the sequel to ‘Dhamaal. In the film, she would be paired opposite Riteish Deshmukh.

-With the theatrical promo of ‘Aisha’ out and songs from ‘Kajraare’ blazing from all entertainment channels, it would be interesting to see the box office battle between Abhay/Sonam and Himesh Reshammiya on 6th August.

-Minissha Lamba has confirmed signing the sequel to ‘Bheja Fry’. This would make it two in a row for her with director Sagar Bellary since she is currently also shooting for another film of his - ‘Hum Tum Aur Shabana’ where she plays the central role of Shabana.

-While a serious (Lamhaa) film and a spoof (Tere Bin Laden) on terrorism are already planned for a 16th July release, another film on the issue of Naxalites (Red Alert - The War Within) has been finalised for release a week earlier (9th July). Too much terror to handle in a single month!
