World Tamil Conference 2010 Website: World Classical Tamil Conference kicks off Today

COIMBATORE, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) — The prestigious occasion of World Tamil Conference begins today at Coimbatore. The five day long literary-cultural event was inaugurated by honorable President of India Mrs. Pratibha Patil today, on June 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. The conference will be held from June 23 to 27.
World Tamil Conference contributes for the development of Tamil culture as well as language. This event creates an ambiance for all Tamil people across the world to feel proud of being a Tamil.
This is the 9th World Tamil Conference, Coimbatore is hosting. Rs. 380 crores is spent for this event. Oscar winning music director, A R Rahman’s anthem, ace director Rajiv Menon’s specialised visual effects were the most exciting part of the conference for the people of Coimbatore. Over one lakh visitors including celebrities have gathered at the conference.
