Boman Iranis New Talent Surprise All

June 12, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): It was a pleasant surprise for the audience of the IIFA Awards at Sri Lanka when Raju Singh, the renowned music director teamed up with Boman Irani. It was in fact, quite a show stopper that evening.
A source says, “Boman took everyone by surprise by playing a guitar and singing live. ‘Give me some sunshine, give me some rain… from the movie 3 Idiots is a song he likes and sang it with gusto. This was followed by 50 kids from Sri Lanka. Getting Boman to do this was a piece of cake, his dedication and commitment in doing it made this project an absolute pleasure.”
Raju Singh while talking about the moment revealed, “It was great to do such a different act with Boman. He loved the song and the track so he came to me and we rehearsed it together with the group, he rehearsed it in accompaniment to the guitar.”
What touched you that day? “ Actually Boman started the act and as soon as he started singing, everyone joined in, and suddenly Salman Khan, stood up clapping, followed by Anil Kapoor and many more. This was very touching.”
