LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Bee Gees turned out to be one of the best surprises of the grand finale of the American Idol. Although only two of the members appeared in the stage of the reality show, it was enough to draw the crowd into a frenzy, despite the fact that the remaining members of the Bee Gees looked very much different than they did in their heyday. All that, however, did nothing to deter the audience from enjoying themselves to the hilt all through the performance. In fact, this was possibly the one performance that the critics had nothing to say untoward about, and the one performance that received accolades both from the audience and the observers.

The Bee Gees appeared halfway through the performance of their smash hit number, “How Deep Is Your Love”, which was being rendered beautifully by American Idol contestants Aaron Kelly and Siobhan Magnus. The rendition of the two singers was beautiful, to say the lest, and obviously held the audience and the judges in thrall. However, things began to get even better with the appearance of the two remaining members of the Bee Gees, who came up in stage to tune their voices to the contestants of the American Idol.

In fact, the critics opined that the performance of the Bee Gees turned out to be one of the best parts of the evening that dwelt on the them of nostalgia, closely contested by the appearance of Bret Michaels to sing the wildly popular “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”. However, the appearance of the Bee Gees also got to keep the audience enthralled for the most part of the evening.
