LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Yet another show has come to an end on NBC and the “Biggest Loser” for this year has been declared. Michael Ventrella has walked home with the crown of the “Biggest Loser” 2010 and with it has also earned the cash prize of $250,000. This reality show which features only overweight candidates is about how fast and how much the participants can shed their weight in the course of their stay on the show.
Michael Ventrella was competing against Ashley Johnson, Koli Palu and Daris George in the finale of “Biggest Loser” 2010. While the winner lost a total of 264 pounds, the other contestants could not even come close to this figure, with Ashley Johnson losing 183 pounds and Daris George becoming lighter by 170 pounds. It was reported that Michael Ventrella was the heaviest among the four, so the fact that he has lost more than fifty percent of his weight won the hearts of the judges.
However, the man from Chicago was not the only lucky person in yesterday’s episode of the “Biggest Loser”. Koli Palu was the winner of the ‘At-Home part of the challenge’ for which he carried home an amount of $100,000 as cash prize. Considering that Michael Ventrella was on the show with his mother for partner, the “Biggest Loser” 2010 crown was a very big win for him. The NBC reality series finally has a winner for this year and according to the latest reports, the producers are gearing up for the next season’s version. The finale of “Biggest Loser” 2010 increased the ratings for the show by a huge margin and the audience too is waiting for the next season.
