Bret Michaels Back In Hospital, With Hole In Heart

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Fans of rocker and reality TV star Bret Michaels have reason to worry. The star who recovered from a near fatal brain hemorrhage just a month back and was planning to resume his work has again been hospitalized. This is quite shocking and absolutely unexpected, given the fact that he recently appeared in the Oprah Winfrey show and there he looked quite fit. The 47 year old Poison front man has suffered warning stroke, as the doctors have specified and currently he is recuperating in a hospital in Los Angeles. Extensive tests were carried out on him after he had to be hospitalized and the doctors have found a hole in his heart. While it has made his family and friends really worried, the doctors are of the opinion that it is curable.
Joseph Zambraski, Bret Michaels’s doctor has confirmed it and he feels that it is not what led to his brain hemorrhage months back. Owing to this new ailment, the career of the rock star has suffered yet another setback. He was getting ready to appear on the Celebrity Apprentice season finale of NBC on Sunday. It is likely that he will not be able to appear in the show for his hospitalization. The ailment has made the left side of his body almost numb.
Neurosurgeon Joseph Zambraski admitted that the family of Bret Michaels is shocked to know about the hole in his heart which in medical terms is known as Patent Foramen Ovale or PFO. The illness and hospitalization has made his chances of joining the May 28 concert slim.

In Bret’s defense, I believe he HAS been staying home. The Oprah interview was held at his house. I hope he makes it through all this and has a long life. He is really a nice person. |
