LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell embarked on a fight right on the sets of the popular reality show “American Idol,” even while the cameras were still on. The tensions between the two has been evident right from the time the show kicked off its ninth season. The fight that took place on Tuesday, and the subsequent aftermath that followed in the next episode on Wednesday, made it very clear that tensions between the two were indeed reaching the bursting point.
The actual Ryan Seacrest Simon Cowell fight had taken place on the last to last episode of American Idol, which was aired on Tuesday, Mar 16. During the episode, Simon Cowell had commented on a contestant’s performance in his characteristic acerbic fashion, calling his dance moves “corny,” and accusing him of being a little “desperate.” The criticism did not go down too well with the host of the show, who protested, leaving the stage and going up to the judges’ desk. As he spoke to Simon Cowell, asking him to impart some “constructive criticism,” the judge in question drew back, asking Ryan Seacrest to get back to his place.
The other judges took it in good humor, apparently. However, the fight did not end there, with Simon Cowell kicking off the show the next day with a reference to the incident, asking Ryan Seacrest if he, instead, would like to be the judge. Another judge of the show, Randy Jackson too commented that the whole Ryan Seacrest Simon Cowell fight was a very aggressive one.

Simon is clearly being a big bully, for someone like Simon who has made his way from the mail room to the top, he should have a little more respect for people trying to do the same. Constructive criticism is good and well appreciated, but Simon is just being mean, he just says things for the sake of saying them and throwing his wieght around. I doubt he even knows wat Constructive criticism means. He is adding absolutely no value with his comments - he is merely just running his big mouth and proving to the world, that he may have all the money and fame, but lacks the characteristics of a decent human being. |
