Crystal Bowersox Illness Fails To Hinder Performance

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Despite the fact that “American Idol” contestant Crystal Bowersox had to spend a night in a medical facility due to her illness a night before, the 24 year old Ohio native gave a performance that left the judges highly impressed. The much loved contestant displayed a stunning performance as she sang Creedence Clearwater Revival’s ‘Long as I Can See the Light’ which turned out to be an immensely entertaining experience for the judges.

With the flawless performance that the 24 year old single mother showcased, it was hard to believe that she had to be hospitalized just a day before owing to her illness. As Crystal Bowersox was about to commence her performance, host Ryan Seacrest announced that the much acclaimed semifinalist had been unwell for the past few days due to which she also had to be admitted to a medical facility. However, when the Ohio native finally appeared on stage, her determination to rule the competition was palpable as she exclaimed, “I feel good, I’m a tough cookie”. Any doubts that her critics might have had about whether she would be able to do justice the huge musical platform soon came to an end when Crystal Bowersox began her soulful performance despite her illness.

While reacting to Crystal Bowersox’s amazing performance, judge Ellen DeGeneras described her as a pure and natural talent. However, the greatest appreciation for the contestant came from Simon Cowell, who praised Crystal Bowersox for not resorting to sympathy from the audiences in order to win the votes in the musical reality series. If by any chance the single mom would have failed to perform due to her illness, then she would have been eliminated from the reality show.
