Kiefer Sutherland undergoes surgery
By IANSMonday, February 15, 2010
LONDON - Hollywood actor Kiefer Sutherland has undergone a minor surgery following a ruptured cyst.
Sutherland’s surgery has disrupted the shooting for upcoming season of “24″. The bosses insist they were keen to stop filming for Sutherland to have the surgery, rather than making the star wait the six weeks he is required for the rest of the shoot.
“We are temporarily suspending production of ‘24′ while our friend and colleague Kiefer Sutherland undergoes a medical procedure, a spokesperson told E! Online.
We hope to resume production shortly and do not anticipate any disruption in the broadcast of this season’s episodes,” the spokesperson added.

Why is Kiefer having so much bad luck? Is he cursed or something? I just finished his biography, “Kiefer Sutherland: Living Dangerously” and it seems like he’s always getting into trouble. Hope he makes a full recovery, though. Check out the book on amazon.com |
