Cowell’s New Love Gets Thumbs-up From Ex Sinitta

SIMON COWELL’s latest lover has got the seal of approval from the music mogul’s closest confidante - his ex-lover, singer SINITTA.

Cowell is dating 36-year-old Mezhgan Hussainy, a make-up artist on his hit American Idol show.

His new love interest faced tough critics in the form of Cowell’s former girlfriends - many of whom he is still close to.

And So Macho singer Sinitta, who dated Cowell in the 1980s, is a big fan of the star’s latest romance - insisting Hussainy is “lovely”.

She tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “I have known Mezhgan for years because she is a make-up artist in America. I think her and Simon are getting on great.

“Me and Mezhgan went out shopping… it was a great day and we had lots of fun. She’s lovely and I am happy for him.”
