LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Didi Benami gave a really heart touching performance that was not only amazingly sung but also liked by the judges in the “American Idol” Season 9. This beautiful belle who studied in Belmont University had always had an inclination for music. This became all the more evident with her amazing performance in “American Idol” audition. It is being speculated that she will end up as one of the semifinalist twelve.

Didi Benami caught the attention of the judges during the audition with her amazing signing of Kara DioGuardi’s “Terrified” during Tuesday’s “American Idol,” and also with her tears. Didi Benami started shedding tears after completing the song saying that she would like to dedicate this sung song to her friend who died four years ago. Though such dramas are part of American Idol audition, this was pretty touchy. It is interesting to note that Didi Benami is not a trained singer, and that it was only after she met her deceased friend Rebecca Joy Lear, a songwriter/singer that she got a voice training. Didi Benami, it seems, can still manage to handle such drama as she seems to be staying there for the semifinals, as the round of speculations are going.

According to the judges, her voice is impressive and very powerful. At the same time it is very controlled. The judges think that Didi Benami has got enough talent to carry herself further in this competition.

However, there is still lot more left as all the auditions are not yet complete and the final list of 24 quarter-finalists is also far away, but what audience are keeping watch on is Didi Benami’s next performance and will she be able to make to the semifinals.
