Tidal Dance wins Big A’s Affectionately Stakes
NEW YORK — Tidal Dance, the 6-5 favorite, beat Pumpkin Shell by 2½ lengths in the $65,000 Affectionately Stakes for fillies and mares in the mud at Aqueduct on Sunday.
Ramon Dominguez guided the 5-year-old to her fourth win in 19 starts. She was clocked in 1:46.64 for the 1 1-16 miles.
Trained by Mike Hushion, Tidal Dance paid $4.70, $2.70 and $2.10. Pumpkin Shell returned $5.10 and $3.20. Yes, She’s a Lady, $2.70, got third.
