DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE performed a tribute to late moviemaker JOHN HUGHES at the Critics Choice Movie Awards in Hollywood on Friday night (15Jan10). The cult band covered Don’t You (Forget About Me) - the theme to Hughes’ Brat Pack film The Breakfast Club. John Krasinski and Amy Poehler also took part in the tribute, dressed as Pretty In Pink characters Andie Walsh and Phil ‘Duckie’ Dale. Hughes suffered a heart attack and died last year (09).
