Brown ‘i Was Never An Angry Person’

Embattled CHRIS BROWN was shocked by his own violent behaviour in the bust-up that ended his romance with RIHANNA, because he’d never lost his temper so badly before.

The Kiss Kiss hitmaker was arrested in February (09) after he assaulted Rihanna in a vicious fight following a pre-Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles.

The brutal attack turned the shamed singer into a public hate figure and landed him a community service order and five years’ probation.

Brown, who previously alleged his mother had been abused by his stepfather, claims he doesn’t recognise the person he became in those dark moments and he will never forgive himself for what he did to the Bajan beauty.

In an interview with newswoman Robin Roberts, which aired in the U.S. on Friday (04Dec09), Brown said, “I never ever had problems with anger. No domestic violence with any of my past girlfriends or any altercations…

“I never was that kind of person… I look at it, and it’s really, really difficult. It’s like, ‘How could I be that person?’

“I was wrong for what I did. And I would definitely say that it’s not something that I look past or look over. Something that’s really, really touchy. And, and like I said, I’m really sorry for what went down. And what happened.”
