Los Angeles- The Saturday Night Live (SNL) updates, when searched today, comes up with a single name, that of Joseph Gordon Levitt. As the host of the 665th episode of the show, he lived up to the entourage of the other self-proclaimed hosts like Robert De Niro, Al Gore, Jesse Jackson, Tom Hanks, Jude Law, etc. Unlike what was expected, he did not disappoint the audience like his predecessor January Jones, who appeared on the Nov. 14th episode. The musical star to appear alongside Joseph Gordon Levitt was the Band of Dave Matthews.

Saturday Night Live (SNL) has been on air since 1975 and is currently running in its 35th season. The current SNL update shows that the coming episodes will feature Blake Lively on Dec. 5, along with the music star Rihanna, TBA with Bon Jovi on Dec. 12 and Derek Jeter as the host on Dec. 19 with TBA as the music guest. The latest show on Nov. 21, marked the 665th episode of the show.

Saturday Night Live (SNL), has featured a range of stars in its 35 seasons with 665 episodes, and among them the last episode did quite well, keeping up with the high standards. The Young Norman of ‘A River runs Through It’, Joseph Gordon Levitt, kept his guests entertained by rolling out quite an energetic performance on the song ‘Make Em Laugh’, which was originally created by Donald O’Connor, for the movie ‘Singin in the Rain’. Similar to O’Connor, Joseph too included a couple of back-flips to accompany his gig. The best part of the show was the parody trailer of the “2012″ movie, which showed that the “2012″ disaster was the result of Sarah Palin becoming the President and Glenn Beck, the Vice president.
